One to two weeks that produce a requirements document, a technical plan, and an estimate we will stand behind. Credited in full toward the project if you sign a statement of work within 30 days. We do not quote a fixed price without it.

Milestone sprints

Two-week sprints at $11,000 – $12,000 each, invoiced per sprint. Our recommended default.
Time & materials
Scope is genuinely open-ended.
Billed monthly against a not-to-exceed cap written into the SOW, so the ceiling is never a surprise.

Consulting & cloud engineering
Often the first thing people buySometimes the useful thing is an answer, not a build. Discovery, above, scopes a project you have already decided on; these are standalone — a read on something that already exists, or on a decision you have not made yet. Fixed fee agreed before the work starts, credited toward a build or retainer if you go on to one within 30 days.

The hands-on cloud work these usually lead to — migrations, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, cost and performance — is scoped as a build or added to a retainer, and priced the same way as any other project.

Terms
The parts people find out late- Retainers are billed monthly in advance, net 15, with a three-month initial term and month-to-month after that on 30 days’ notice.
- Overage beyond included hours bills at $150/hr on Essential and Growth, $140/hr on Embedded tiers.
- Prepay discounts: 10% quarterly, 15% annual.
- Fixed-bid builds: 50% deposit to start, the balance across agreed milestones, final payment on delivery.
- Anything outside a signed statement of work goes through a written change order with its own price and timeline before work starts.
